Your Measurements
It is very important to get the proper measurements when purchasing your garments. Even though I have basic sizes to choose from, it is important that you not get something that is completely ill fitted. If you follow the steps below you will have a great piece to wear!

Your Bodice
1. If you plan to
ALWAYS wear a corset under your bodice, put your corset
on, and measure with the corset on. Wearing a corset changes the shape and
size you are. Even though my women’s garments are made to fit any
undergarment being period or not, it is still important to measure with
the undergarments
on.
2. If you do NOT plan to wear a corset, go by your ACTUAL measurements.
*DO NOT use "guessed" measurements
*DO NOT use "hopeful" measurements
*DO NOT
use a measurement of what you want the final garment to be if it is
DIFFERENT from your ACTUAL measurement.
3. Measure
yourself at the fullest point of your bust line. (Do not go by bra size)
If you plan to wear a corset, measure with your corset on otherwise your
bodice
will be the wrong size!
4. Measure your waistline at the thinnest point. This is your waist measurement.
Again, if you are wearing a corset, measure with the corset on.
5. If you have special circumstances with your measurements that don’t fall into the sizes I have listed let me know! Since every person is different I can make pieces that are longer, shorter in the waist, or if you have a rather large bust, I can make a dress that will fit you properly. Just drop me a line!
Your Skirt
Are you wearing a hoop under your skirt? If so, you want to measure the length
(from waist to hoop base) with the hoop and your shoes on. If you're not planning
to wear a hoop skirt, measure from your waist to where you want the hem to
fall. Some people prefer their skirts to brush the ground, while others prefer
their skirts to be ankle length. Again, it's all a matter of preference. I
highly recommend having your skirt hemmed AFTER I send it to you. I can not
guarantee the length or evenness of a hem unless I am there to do it for you.
This is mainly because hoop circumferences, body shape and other factors make
it impossible to perfect the hem of your gown without being there in person.
I will hem it for you if you wish, but I just can't guarantee the length will
be as perfect as an in-person seamstress could make it. All skirts start at
a length of anywhere between 43 to 40 inches long.

Doublet / Jerkin
1. Just like the Ladies:
*DO NOT use "guessed" measurements
*DO NOT use "hopeful" measurements.
*DO NOT
use a measurement of what you want the final garment to be if it is
DIFFERENT from your ACTUAL measurement.
*DO
NOT use your coat jacket size. All garments are made different. Even though
the doublets and Jerkins I have
are adjustable, it is important to get a size that will not be ill
fitting.
2. Measure
yourself at the fullest part of the chest. This is primarily around the bottom
of your shoulder blades and around your pectoral muscles.
3. Measure
on your back from shoulder to shoulder. This should be from where the arm
socket is.
4. Measure your stomach area. Because of the nature of the doublet it was meant to have a slight bulge slightly above where the stomach area on today’s men set. Since I know many of you men might have slightly bigger stomachs I have added grommets on the sides of the doublet to give you more room. Still, measure this area so that you have enough coverage.
Men’s Pants
Measure your waist and inseam. For example when you buy jeans you get a size like 38 / 34. The first number is your waist size and the second number tells you the length of the pant leg. The pants offered are knee breeches and full length pants. Your inseam measurement will not be as long as regular jeans or pants when ordering knee breeches.

Ordering and Shipping
All items are made with quality fabrics and materials. Since I am very concerned
with the quality of the materials I use, I do not accept outside fabric or
fabric that is supplied by the customer. I can try to match any color the customer
requires, but more times then not the dye lots on fabrics are never going to
be the same as what you have as an already purchased item. Because of this
I offer general colors for the basic items offered on my site but if you are
looking for a certain color please email before hand to see if I can accommodate
your request.
All items on my site will be newly made and shipped out within a 2 to 3 week
time span. Sometimes they are sent even sooner. During the busiest months of
the year (between June and November) it may take a bit longer to get the items
out to you. Since I am a one person sewing shop I deal with first come first
serve orders, so please order accordingly to the time frame in which you need
your items. A good rule of thumb for ordering any garment is to place an order
anywhere from 1 to 3 months in advance. I try to have items completed and shipped
quicker then that but during the busiest months even the best seamstress can
get bogged down with orders. When ordering please let me know what date you
need your items by so I can keep a time frame in mind. If I can not meet your
needs in the allotted time frame I will email you and refund your money with
an explanation as to why can not fill your order.
All items will be shipped out through UPS® ONLY. The reason for this is I like to give the customer a tracking number so you can check the progress of the package. All packages are insured and can be tracked through the UPS® website. All items will be shipped out UPS® ground unless otherwise stated by the customer. If you require an overnight or express shipment the rates for shipping will change accordingly. Please email me if you need a quicker shipping transit time then ground. UPS® ground takes anywhere from 2 to 4 days to deliver within the continental 48 United States. Hawaii and Alaska may take longer and I will let you know what the shipping time frame is when the items have been shipped. All international orders must contact me before you purchase an item/s to see if I will ship to your country.

Payments
Payments can be made by Cashiers Check, Money Order, or Pay-Pal®. I am sorry but no PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME. Mainly because of the abuse and the fraud of others that have come before you. If you are using a credit card you must use Pay-Pal®. I do not have a credit terminal for phone orders. So PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER! Pay-Pal® is a safe and easy way to make a payment online and I highly recommend this form of payment. If paying by Cashiers Check or Money Order please contact me at AnnTQuittys@aol.com. Payments can be made to the following through Pay-Pal® to: GodOnNet@aol.com
